Thanks to ARTVOX, we want to enhance Italy's multiple vocations (culture, art, fashion, food and wine, and design) with the aim of increasing the resilience of the tourism supply chain. ARTVOX will open a digital channel with guests, enhancing the artistic and cultural heritage of the territories. The application will become a useful engagement tool for the loyalty of tourists, who will be able to appreciate and fully experience the value of the territories. The target audience for marketing our application is not only the museum, cultural institution, or exhibition space, whether public or private. Schools could purchase the application with the aim of launching cultural and tourist promotion routes designed and implemented directly under the supervision of their teachers. CEAGA is one of the consortium partners in the RESIST Eurocluster initiative, which aims to support SMEs from the Mobility-Transport-Automotive ecosystem in their digital and green transition, as well as to increase their level of resilience in the face of unexpected events and future challenges. For this aim, the project will provide more than 1 million euros in cascade funding. Two open calls have already been launched: one for innovation projects and the other for the participation in marketing and networking activities (this latter managed by CEAGA). We create a novel light composite material for use in ships that like no other reduces carbon footprint of vessels within their whole lifecycle – starting in a shipyard and ending at a shipbreaking site. We have already realized 4 prototypes of our innovative solution, using an iterative approach, each one validating some important aspects . And we already have our 10 pre-series bikes pre-ordered. We designed a single frame for the two different models : family with two seats and single seater variant for professionals. The design is a key success factor, especially for the two-seater for families, to create a useful and beautiful product, and provide a viable alternative to the second car. We use materials and processes that are consistent with our values. Our last prototype before the pre-series will be equipped with the bodywork we designed with our designer partner. It will be released in february 2024. Then we'll produce 15 pre-series bikes to deliver to our first clients in summer 2024. 5 of them will be rented to experimental territories and tested by more than 50 volunteers over 18 months. To address these challenges, the Bike Blind Spot Detection (BBSD) solution has been developed by our start up, which consists of low-cost mmWave radar sensors for detecting obstacles in blind spots, programmatic model powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) for recognition the type of detected object, and a mobile application that integrates the result of processing with GPS information to offer the safest and fastest route to cyclists. Whable Story Information about restaurants’ real accessibility for disable people in a wheelchair is unreliable. We will build a Geolocalized map of all restaurants with “real” accessibility. A team of authorized people using a wheelchair will actually visit the buildings and will give a certified “Whable” accessibility badge. This will solve the problem of actually going to a restaurant to only discover that its accessibility information was incorrect. When disable people want to visit places it can be hard to know their real accessibility. This is why we want to help them to save time / resources and money. With our geolocalized certified Whable map we will solve important problems giving reliable information coming from other people using a wheelchair. This will reduce the number of injuries and inconveniences and it will transform people's lives. We will build an app with a geolocalized map showing only real accessible places with our Whable badge. We will build a prototype which we call Whable. We will work to certify real accessible places visited by disable people for disable people on a wheelchair. The main goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the women cooperators of our Cooperative in the Srebrenica region. We works with marginalized women from rural regions who, among other things, are victims of family and war violence, and poor social and economic conditions, mothers of children with disabilities, etc. Our goal with this project is to empower women small producers of domestic products in order to provide them with the opportunity to go on the market in our region. Our plan is to provide support to women according to their needs in the process of launching their products on the market. They grow raspberries and blackberries, which they hand over to our cooperative. In addition, a large number of them produce and process numerous sweet and salty products based on old traditional recipes that have recently gained importance in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through the Kerering service, the cooperative uses a part of those products but we want to market it further in BIH and beyond. Show less

Therefore, we would like to promote it using three modern digital products: 1st product: Virtual tour The area of the Levoča Autocamping is relatively large, covering an area of 3 hectares. That's why we want to show it to Slovak and foreign visitors using 3D aerial panoramic shots from a drone. In the virtual tour, it will be possible to click through to all areas of the car camping: Penzión pod Mariánská hora, Kováčova vila restaurant, Poniklec cottage, tourist cabins, congress room, Marčulina observation tower. The virtual tour will be in Slovak and English, it will contain detailed information about accommodation, refreshments and tourist attractions in the vicinity. It will include audio commentary for the blind and text information for the hearing impaired. The map will facilitate orientation. 2nd product: website The existing website is 10 years old, therefore it is already out of date and it is very difficult to update data on it. For example, the price list has not been updated for more than 5 years. That's why we want to design a new, modern website that will also include a virtual tour. Show less

That is why we want to show it to Slovak and foreign visitors using 3D aerial panoramic shots from a drone. In the virtual tour, it will be possible to click through to all areas of the guesthouse. The virtual tour will be in Slovak and English, it will contain detailed information about the possibility of accommodation, refreshments and tourist attractions in the vicinity, for example Spiš Castle. It will contain audio commentary for ordinary tourists, but also for the blind, and text information for ordinary tourists, but also for the hearing impaired. Even blind users will be able to control the virtual tour thanks to keyboard shortcuts that will turn on and off the audio commentary and text information. The map will facilitate orientation. We will show all the rooms in a virtual tour. Visitors will see a room suitable for immobile visitors in wheelchairs. Tourists in wheelchairs cannot come to Spiš Castle. That is why we will show them Spiš Castle in a virtual tour and on 3D models. Spišský hrad - a UNESCO monument is closed in winter. Thanks to the virtual tour, we will show tourists Spiš Castle even in winter, when it is closed due to bad weather. The introductory video will be not only in Slovak, but also in English, German, Polish and Hungarian. The virtual tour will work on computers, mobile phones, tablets, in 3D glasses (for example Oculus) or in an information kiosk with an Android tablet in the reception of the boarding house. Our idea is to turn Rifugio Alpe Bonze in the first alpine hut based on the concept of inclusion: of people, of nature and of the ideas. To do it, we want to completely reduce to 0 the environmental impact of the structure, by using green energy (already present), reducing waste to minimum, using local products and using sustinable mobility for furniture. We also want to host in the hut disadvantage people, to do some work experience and to participate in the activities. We would like to organize cultural events as well as excursion to discover the nature, the local fauna and flora and promote a slow turism based on slow tourism. Show less

Several studies (Giuseppe Riva-Cattolica Milano) have shown that Virtual Reality applications represent a more than valid tool for the treatment of pathological disorders, reducing the length of the treatment and showing a significant maintenance of the result during time, even on the medium-long term. In order to improve and evolve, Gruppo Arco feels the need to implement these new technologies on its daily based work, firstly through a specific training of its employees. The force of change, in the therapeutic field, has always been the key to face new pathological and personality frameworks, from here the need to adopt new healing tools such as VR and conversational motors. Bosnia and Herzegovina, for a foreign tourists, still represents a hidden diamond that has yet to be discovered and visited. Foreign media present our country as one of the countries that still awaits the expansion of tourism, highlighting the natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, pleasant hosts, cultural and religious diversity, as well as numerous cultural and historical monuments that have only recently entered the list of UNESCO protected monuments. There are many other segments of our country's tourist offer about which very little is known and whose promotion is almost not done at all, sports and fishing tourism certainly belongs to that group. Our country, especially the Krajina region, has all the conditions for the development of fishing tourism. The rivers Sana, Sanica, Ribnik, Krušnica, Una, Pliva, as well as many others located within a radius of 100 km from Ključ, where the tourist agency Go To Nature is located, are rich in trout, grayling and Danube Salmon, which is a real rarity and challenge and for experienced fishermen. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a little-known destination in terms of sport-recreational fishing, and it is necessary to continuously work on promotion as well as improving the quality of the service. One of the relatively favorable ways to promote tourist destinations is by using social networks, which some destinations have been doing for a long time. Thus, in the summer of 2021, the tourism organization Vendee in France invited selected promoters - influencers as part of a communication strategy called "Four Seasons", which resulted in a significantly higher number of searches for the programs they offer. The next example is the tourism board of Finland, which carried out a campaign called "100 days of the magic of the polar night", in which a large number of promoters - influencers from Finland important markets participated. The aim of this campaign was to promote Finland during the winter months, for which details of the influencers' lives and their adventures during their stay in Finland were presented in social media. The mentioned campaign also caused great media interest, and a large increase in visits to the Visit Finland website was recorded. The tourist boards of our neighboring Croatia constantly organize similar promotions, e.g. Croatia Full of Magic promotion, which is currently underway, a trip was organized for journalists, travel bloggers and influencers from 10 markets: Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Great Britain, Sweden, Norway and others. The goal of our project is to raise the level of information about the capacities of sport-fishing tourism in our country, among fishermen from Western European countries through influencers - promoters who are already engaged in fishing and who are already known for their interesting posts on social networks or are known for their achieved results in fishing circles. Access to healthy and sustainable food is becoming increasingly difficult for the Greek consumers as small producers are scarce and isolated, most of them located in mountainous areas. The severe obstacles mountainous producers confront in Greece, especially in the prefecture of Ioannina which will be our area of intervention, are numerous and lead many to seek alternative means of income, abandoning the production of mountainous products. Consequently, the majority of customers have limited or no access to quality products that are produced and distributed locally. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) networks can bring together the mountainous producers and the customers, give to the local community access to affordable, sustainable, safe and healthy food, significantly increase the producers revenue and eradicate the lack of trust and understanding between consumers and mountainous producers. However, the lack of knowledge regarding the benefits CSA networks can generate, as well as the non-existent legal framework to run CSA networks in Greece constitute the main obstacles for their creation and operation. Additionally, the regulation of the European Parliament reserving the use of the term “mountain product” is unfortunately not applied in Greece. To surpass the above mentioned obstacles and explore their societal impact we propose: The implementation of a series of informational seminars provided by The High Mountains SCE and external experts for both the consumers and the producers on CSA and its benefits, giving them the opportunity to connect and start establishing a relationship of trust and mutual comprehension. To make this cataloging process automatic and faster, we would like to integrate Artificial Intelligence into the web app. This would allow, starting just from a photograph of the garment and its label, to extract and record all the essential data (specifically: Type of garment; Main color of the fabric; Composition of materials; Size; Presence of a valuable brand; Seasonality; Gender) to classify and direct each garment towards the most suitable circular process for its characteristics and conditions. The choice of suppliers and raw materials is and will be made based on the same principles, favoring inclusive realities where possible. Unsold food is and will be sent to specialized organizations that will prevent it from being wasted. Our financial activities are and will be guided by the principles of ethical and sustainable economics. The food catalog is agreed with the individual school managements and renewed based on what emerges in the dialogue with students, teachers and administrative staff; particular attention will be paid to those with special dietary needs (e.g. those suffering from celiac disease). In all cases, operational solutions will be adopted to minimize the use of disposable plastic. A team of 2 or 3 people is also created who prepare the food and carry out the packaging in the laboratory early in the morning; they will then be taken to the individual distribution locations via a van. They are also key figures: - the administrative manager who manages active and passive invoicing, general accounting and payroll - support psychologists dedicated to all workers. The young people destined for the service will initially be included with a training internship and, subsequently (after 6 months), those who have successfully passed the internship and who have not found other jobs will be included as apprentices. Particular attention is paid to training, tutoring and support of interns in line with the company's objective which is precisely to encourage the employment of young disabled people; furthermore, the same attention is paid to the implementation of internal training courses on the subject of workplace safety. Thanks to the work of volunteers, communication activities are well developed, aimed at dialogue with students both on the topic of disability and on that of the sustainability of catering. C.L.O. (Compost-like Output) is the biodegradable portion of the products obtained through "mechanical-biological treatment" of municipal waste streams. The main goal of the proposed project is to explore the potential of utilizing chicken manure from poultry facilities as feedstock in an innovative, fluidized bed gasification system, in order to produce synthesis gas that can be used for sustainable energy production and substitute natural gas and LPG used currently for space heating. Such a system could significantly reduce the volume of organic waste from the poultry facility and the resulting environmental footprint, while exploiting its energy content to reduce the fossil fuel-derived electricity consumption of poultry facilities. Our project is to put in place a circular loop for the full recycling of our kits with the support and collaboration of our partners, Solvay and Cosmolys.

The project's scope will involve the realization of a fully functioning, pre-commercial-scale TRL 6 prototype. Currently, our product has well-defined chemistry, but the entire battery and its ancillary systems will need to be designed to accommodate its unique characteristics. The first step will involve optimizing the internal flow with the assistance of fluid-dynamic simulations of the viscous medium and the porous current collector. The second step will be the design of the stack, which will consist of 5 cells in series; this includes considerations for the connections, sealing, and external design. The third step will be the development of a tailored battery management system capable of controlling charge and discharge processes while managing all the ancillary components. The result will be a small-scale, pre-commercial prototype to be tested in a real environment, fully validating the technology. Show less

On the way to a functioning circular economy, it is the declared goal of industry, society, and policymakers to turn today’s waste into tomorrow’s secondary raw materials. As part of Total Plastic Solution Ltd's (TPS) transition to a circular economy, the company has a need to reprocess PC/ABS recyclate back into their products, with a target to incorporate an average of 30% recycled content by 2025. However, TPS is required to fully understand the effects of recyclate addition to their current materials and the effects of various recycled content on their end product properties. The proposed project will process various volumes of recyclate PC/ABS with virgin material to investigate the effect of recyclates on material and final product properties. This will be achieved by in-depth characterisation of the baseline materials and compared to the various blended batches as well as 100% recycled PC/ABS. Additionally, once the optimum blend is determined, the effects of multiple recycling cycles will be examined, by reprocessing the specific blend to understand the maximum number of process cycles the material can be subjected to before detrimental effects occur. Additionally, the company has a powdered PP waste stream from a separate process, which has a minimum of ~38% moisture content post-processing which has the potential to be reintroduced to a product or pelletized for sale. The current drying process is lengthy, arduous, and costly. A number of processing trials (using conventional processing and drying technologies) will be conducted to reduce the drying steps, and drying time and ultimately reduce costs. Show less

Development of a digital LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) tool aimed at characterizing the recycling of uncured composite materials with a thermosetting matrix, i.e. production scraps/scraps, which cover a total of 90% of pre- and post-waste - care process and to evaluate their environmental impact, integrating recycling processes already validated with Digital Twin (DT) technologies, in order to arrive at a model validated at TRL 6. For each technology, the tool will allow considering and evaluating criteria such as contributing to climate change, human toxicity, terrestrial ecotoxicity, freshwater ecotoxicity, marine ecotoxicity, or fossil depletion. The project intends to concretely respond to two needs highlighted at a global level: • increase in demand for the production of composite material components in the transport sector • reduction of production waste/scraps, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact. Regarding the first point, by 2026, the global market for fiber-reinforced polymer composites is expected to reach $375 billion, from $228 billion in 2019, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.3 % (https://www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/14/24/16855). With regards to the reduction of production waste/scraps, from what has just been said, it is clear that to address the waste problem, an adequate waste management hierarchy is necessary, as reported in Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Union, whose main objective is the minimization or prevention of waste, followed by reuse, recycling, recovery and disposal. It is essential to recycle, reuse and recover composite waste generated from production, use or end-of-life waste. Show less

To add value to shoe soles, CETIA has developed a pilot line capable of separating the upper part of a shoe from the sole, whether it is a glued, sewn, injected, or vulcanized sole. The challenge lies in the fact that soles are often made of multiple materials, and in order to obtain high-quality recycled material, the waste stream must consist of a single material with as few other materials as possible. Therefore, we aim to test various separation and sorting solutions, mechanically recycle the different shoe sole materials, and assess the reintegration of these recycled materials into new soles. Thanks to an environmental study carried out in our last edition, we identified that the disassembly phase after the celebration of the event generates almost half of the festival's total waste. According to the analysis, only 30% of the waste generated in this phase is identifiable and corresponds to all the non-reusable elements that were managed as waste in the days following the celebration of the festival. To identify the remaining 70% and be able to make an adequate estimate of the environmental impact generated by the waste from the event, some hypotheses were generated, contrasted with field work done while waste management was being carried out these days. In these hypotheses, it was assumed that 90% of the black raffia that serves as fencing throughout the entire enclosure, and that in principle is designed to be reused, was managed as waste in the general fraction. The Raffia is 800m2 of black polyester with a weight of 150kg. Other elements that are designed to be reused in other editions, such as returnable plastic cups, accounted for 3,685 kg of plastic waste, and elements such as wooden frames for the structure, about 500 kg that were possibly managed within the general fraction.* All of these elements, whose objective is to be reused, do not meet their potential end of life due to poor final management, which is probably due to the lack of knowledge of the operators when identifying which elements should be stored and which should be thrown away. To respond to this problem, we have identified the opportunity to design a waste management methodology that would be implemented in each edition to avoid the excessive generation of waste during the celebration and dismantling of the event, with emphasis on maximizing the reusability of all elements capable of being reused. The purpose of the methodology will be to standardize a process of analysis, contingency plan, control and validation of waste management, to reduce the Tons of waste generated by the festival and its equivalent carbon footprint. Thanks to this methodology, tons of waste will not only be reduced, but its traceability will be improved so that it has better final management according to its material characteristics, increasing its recyclability and, above all, increasing the circularity of reusable elements by adding at least one second cycle within its useful life. Traditionally, fertilization is based on sampling and applying a uniform dose of fertilizer throughout the crop, which is neither economically efficient nor environmentally friendly. The use of hyperspectral techniques using drones will allow data to be obtained from each plant or section of the crop, which facilitates accurate nutrient application. In addition, the technology can be transferred to satellite sensors for large-scale monitoring. The project is framed within the theme of optimal utilization and aims to offer improvements in the production processes of different sectors related to agri-food. Also, as part of the project, the Belgian website will be created where customers will book and pay online for the service. This idea comes as a result of the request of local and foreign visitors who visit the city of Belsh where there are about 100 thousand visitors every year reported by the institution of the Belsh Municipality. To create a game to train companies.

Our innovative project aims to be a true game changer in eco-responsibility and culture. We combine immersive storytelling and gamification for learning with the tool we are developing : InStory. Our project pays special attention to threshold effects, developing awareness strategies aimed at preventing the crossing of these critical points in ecological systems, with an emphasis on preventative action. Our goal is to improve learning and assimilation conditions to meet learners's needs in a personalized manner. It integrates a story design method with virtual assistance powered by generative AI, offering unique, captivating learning experiences that adapt to various devices (smartphone, computer, tablet, etc.) Our project consists of two components: - "Component 1", funded by the Métropole de Nice, focuses on cultural and scientific mediation, as part of a project we are conducting with the Nice Natural History Museum. - "Component 2", for which we are seeking European funding, targets environmental mediation with a focus on the theme of decarbonizing ports, developed with our partner HY PLUG. Here, the goal is to create a demonstrator for training that meets the needs of all audiences in raising awareness of this ecological issue. This first prototype, which can be adapted and applied to other fields, fits into a long-term vision, with the main goal of presenting at the 2025 Nice International Ocean Forum and the French Institute’s Mediterranean Sea project in 2026. This first experience, using new digital technologies, paves the way for new types of training in all fields and professional sectors. By realizing this project, we aspire to exceed and sustain the action of our pilot experiment. The two components aim to expand and enrich our learning methods. Show less
